    Editorial screening

    Scope check and anti-plagiarism screening, followed by a first editorial decision.

    Double-blind review

    At least two independent reviewers evaluate your work; identities stay anonymous both ways.

    Open-access publication

Is there a fee to submit a manuscript?

No. Submission is free of charge, and APC waivers are available for authors with financial hardship.

How does the peer review work?

Every manuscript that passes editorial screening is reviewed double-blind by at least two independent reviewers. The first decision is usually given in about 7 days and the review takes about 2 months.

Who owns the copyright of published articles?

Authors keep the copyright. Articles are published with immediate open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

In which language are articles published?

GPEIJ publishes articles in English. Authors who need help can use our editing, proofreading and formatting services.

How often is the journal published?

GPEIJ is published twice a year, in April and October.
